Volleyball chants and Traditions

• The student section is opposite of the benches for Volleyball games in the Cintas Center.

• When it is game point in Xavier's favor, yell "Yes!" every time a Xavier player hits the ball and "No!" whenever an opposing player successfully hits the ball.

• "Let's Go X!" *clap* (3 times)

• "Let's Go Muskies!" *clap* *clap* *fast 3x-clap* (3 times)

• Xavier Fight Song after Musketeers win a game or match.

Soccer

Both soccer teams play at our very own Corcoran Field. The student section is located on the far end of the bleachers, but you can typically find students anywhere on the hill! For every home Men's and Women's Soccer game, we aim to "FILL THE HILL" to cheer on our Musketeers!

Basketball

Students stand the ENTIRE game, no matter what. 

Basketball Chants and Traditions:

When Xavier is on offense:

• "Let's Go X!" *clap* (3 times)

• "Let's Go Muskies!" *clap* *clap* *fast 3x-clap* (3 times)

• "Here we go Muskies, Here we go!" *clap-clap* (3 times)

When Xavier is on defense:

• "De-fense" *clap-clap* (repeat 3 times)

• If your not yelling defense, be yelling loud and proud!

Xavier Fight Song

The lyrics to the Xavier fight song are as shown below:

During the song's bridge, spell out Xavier by raising your arms in an X - A - V with three claps in between each letter. Finally move your arms forward, back and forward to form the I - E - R. The song is usually repeated twice. (You’ll get the hang of it!)

Blob's Banter

Blob's Banter contains all the information and dirt on the opposing team, as well as information on all upcoming Xavier Athletic events, you could possibly need!  Located on your seat before the game courtesy of X-treme Fans Board of Directors. Know your team. Know your opponent. 

NEWSPAPER TOSS

When Xavier makes their first basket (it can’t be a free throw), toss your ripped up newspaper into the air! Students turn around when the opposing team lineup is getting called. Shout “Who Cares!” as each of their names gets called and rip the newspaper in preperation. Newspaper will be on the seat when students arrive.

TREMOR

After the teams are announced the lights go dark. Students sway back and forth in their rows, arms around each other. As the beat picks up, so does the energy. Jump up and down, go crazy, and get hyped cause the games about to start!

SILENT X

When Xavier is shooting free throws, the student section crosses their arms in an X while holding up the number of the shooter with your fingers in silence. After the made free throw, say "Woosh!”

During opposing free throws: yell, wave towels, balloons, fatheads, whatever you can to distract the shooter. Go crazy folks.

POST-GAME PLAYER WALK

Immediately following the game, the party begins!  After every single game, the players walk behind the basket and through the front of the student section to thank the fans for their support, as we thank them for their effort.  

Roll BLoB Roll

We all love the Blue Blob and it nothing is better than seeing the Blob roll down the basketball court. Chant, "Roll Blob Roll!" to see it make its' way down the court. 

Baseball

Traditions, Events and Promotions

• X-Treme Fans sit in the student section at Xavier baseball games and are actively involved in game day events. Typically X-Treme Fans will host a cookout at one baseball game per year!

• Get ready for the Xavier Fight Song after a Xavier home run and at the end of the game!

• Cheer and be loud, make sure they can hear us in the stands!
