Big East Tournament

One of the biggest events of every school year is the BIG EAST Tournament! Each March, Xavier takes approximately 50 students to New York City to cheer on our Men's Basketball Team as they compete for a conference championship.

When they're not at the games, students explore the city, enjoy some of New York's best food, and experience everything the Big Apple has to offer. But when Xavier takes the court, every student is in the stands—dressed head to toe in Xavier gear, bringing unmatched energy, and creating a home-court atmosphere wherever the Musketeers play. It's an unforgettable experience that creates lifelong memories and brings the Xavier community even closer together.

Giveaways

A core part of X-treme Fans’ mission is giving back to our community, so every few games, we giveaway a new item! We have given out an array of different items. More recently we have given out T-shirts, water bottles, tote bags, and Xavier face paint sticks!

Events Through the Years

In 2015, X-Treme Fans took an overnight road trip, traveling to the University of Michigan to support both our men's and women's basketball teams. After months of planning, the Board organized an unforgettable experience that included attending both games, touring Michigan's campus, and spending time together on the road. The trip marked the beginning of a tradition of creating memorable travel experiences that bring Xavier students together while supporting the Musketeers wherever they compete.

In 2014, it was a breakthrough year for Xavier Athletics. Originally being a part of the Atlantic 10 Conference, Xavier switched into the Big East Conference. Since then, the X-treme Fans Board of Directors have given students many opportunities to be able to follow different sports teams on the road to various locations across the country. For instance, the year Xavier moved into the Big East, the X-Treme Fans Board coordinated a trip to Butler to cheer on our Men’s Basketball team. That same year, Men’s Soccer was fighting for their spot at the Sweet Sixteen against No. 5 Indiana University and with Xavier’s student’s enthusiasm, the men won 2-1.
